Helping each other during the Coronavirus isolation

23rd March 2020

The Bourne Parish have  launched a helpline for those parishioners, friends and neighbours who may feel lonely or have particular needs whilst self-isolating.

Email:     [email protected]

Tel:        07947 652309

Anyone needing moral support or urgent practical help can email or call. A member of our ministry team will also be available to offer counsel. The helpline will be open every day from 9 - 8pm.

email - [email protected]
tel -      07947 652309

These are the ways we can help:
  • Chat over the phone with a member of our volunteer team if you are feeling lonely or isolated.
  • Emergency help if vital items or shopping is required.
  • Information about lots of local services delivery to the door, such as meals or prescriptions.
  • Phone calls from one of the Ministry Team.
  • Ask us -  we will help if we can!

We want people to feel supported and connected during these challenging times, particularly enabling people to talk to each other.
You can either email or call and someone will arrange for one of our volunteers to call you depending on your specific need.

If you have a friend or neighbour who doesn't have access to email please let them know the number.

A prayer for this time

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
