Carers Week Event, Friday 15th June, 10am-3pm

Farnham Hospital and Centre for Health are holding an information, advice and support day. All carers are welcome to come along and speak to staff from various organisations who can talk to you about the inforamtion and advice you need and to signpost you to the supprt that is available to you.

With hand massage provided throughout the day by Action for Carers.

Phyllis Tuckwell Bubble Rush

Phyllis Tuckwell Bubble Rush

Saturday 17th June at Merrist Wood College in Worplesdon for a foam-filled fun run, and participants will take part in one of two waves - wave 1 starts at 11am and wave 2 starts at 1pm. Step by Step Annual Sleep Out, Friday 22nd June

Join us for our 8th annual SLEEP OUT at the EBB Stadium, Aldershot. We are inviting community groups, corporate teams, families and individuals to swap their beds for one night and take on the cold, hard floor under the stadium’s terraces. Get sponsored to sleep out so that young people don’t have to!

Phyllis Tuckwell’s annual sponsored Walk for the Wards will take place this year on Sunday 1st July, with a new route which sets off from the picturesque village of Frensham. Phyllis Tuckwell Open Gardens

From May to July you can browse some of the most impressive, well-tended and relaxing gardens in Surrey and Hampshire, with Phyllis Tuckwell’s Open Gardens event.  Gardens of many different sizes and designs will be on display in Farnham, Rowledge, Tilford, Guildford, Ripley, Headley Down, Churt and Cranleigh, and for a small fee visitors are invited to wander round, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of each and maybe taking away a few ideas to try out on their own green spaces at home. On July 14th, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will be joining in itself, opening its own beautiful grounds to visitors!


FARNHAM Assist  Chawton House Open Garden & Afternoon Tea, 11.30am-4.30pm, Saturday 28th July

We will also have access to Chawton House, home of Jane Austin’s brother and writing place of Jane, the kitchen staff will serve a delicious cream tea with Pelly Concert Orchestra kindly providing background music.This event will be a chance to see the beautiful house and gardens, enjoying insider knowledge of the vast history of the property as well as horticultural know-how provided by Andrew Bentley.
